CLIPS: Editing and Project Management

"100 Years of Women in the Ballot Box" (special project I developed, found stories for, and edited for Smithsonian focused on how the fight for the right to vote continued on after the 19th Amendment, propelled by women of color). Here are two stories I lead edited and am particularly proud of, one on how women vote and the other on civil rights advocate Fannie Lou Hamer.

I also oversaw Smithsonian's virtual event series during the pandemic start-to-finish, which entailed finding and writing memos on potential speakers, directing rehearsals, setting deadlines, providing moderators with questions, and a litany of tech and marketing logistics.
